Millions of women took to the streets on seven continents. Men were there too. And children.
Some marches were hundreds of thousands strong. The original march, in Washington DC, was probably about a half a million. Others marches were a few thousand, or even a few hundred people. Marches took place in major cities across the USA. And in small towns. In blue states. In red states. And then there were the solidarity marches in other parts of the world.
It is quite probable that in all of human history, no single human being has inspired such a large mobilization on a single day.
